What would happen if I try to return a Gardos to hand at the end of the turn while I have Infinity Dragon in the battlezone? Will I have to keep sending cards to the grave from deck until a non-dragon/fire-bird is revealed, or only once? Edit: On a related note: "What the heck happens if the opponent casts something like tragic swamp on my tapped Babelginus while Infinity is on the field?" Found that in the wikia. Second ruling. duelmasters.wikia.com/wiki/Infinity_Dragon/Rulings
^But now I have questions about the reasoning behind the first ruling. Why doesn't it stop the destruction of both?

I was wondering the same. Does it go to hand or stay? And if it stays, what you just asked.

"At the end of your turn, return this creature to your hand"
and
"Whenever one of your Dragons would leave the battle zone, put the top card of your deck into your graveyard. If that card is a Dragon or Fire Bird, your Dragon stays in the battle zone instead"
Infinity triggers its effect and if successful makes Gardo stay in the battle zone.

In doing so, does the "end of the turn" event pass? I'm inclined to think that it won't, and the effect will keep triggering until Gardos leaves.

This is a very nice topic. I was thinking it is also possible to make a deck out with this loop. But very probable that Infinity Dragon ability take over the "end of the turn" that Gardos bounce it self. A nice scenario. is when both players have on the field "Asteria, Spirit of Heaven's Blessing". One of the players casts energy stream. What will happen? Having in mind that the eff of Asteria is mandatory, each player will draw until the first one that will have no cards in deck will lose! This is so fun

Forgot to answer this but Arcadia is right. Infinity dragon triggers.
Second part of Arcadia's comment is irrelevant to this thread.
