◄- RAMPAGE of the TITANS -►
I've been testing this deck for a while, and I'm quite pleased with the results. I used it in all duels of the march tournament, and won.
It was initially inspired by Rashaskool's stomp, but it's come a long way since then(stomp being S17 and all), and the the focus and structure of the deck is quite different.
The main strategy is the same as Stomp- Swarm the field with HUGE creatures while building resources. Dolgazer and some support for it goes in no doubt, but I've also included things like Chirico and Variant Vades. I'll get to their usage soon.
Resource builders(18):
4x Faerie Life
2x Ochappi, Pure Hearted Faerie
2x Qurian
1x Cyber Brain
3x Kirino Giant
3x Thrash Crawler
3x Dolgazer, Veteran of Hard Battle
Things that build up your mana zone and hand quickly. Ideally the deck should go for the Dolgazer hit asap. Going with Faerie Life->Kirino->Dolgazer progression will get you a T4 Dolgazer with 3 draws. Most of the things here are creatures, which goes with the swarming strategy and provides some resilience against low-powered rushes. Multiple Dolgazers will give you insane draws.
Most of the cards here are invaluable in breaking through controls.
Stall, Removal and Defense(14):
3x Genius Janit, of the Hidden Blade
2x Ragmal, Spirit Knight
2x Corile
3x Aqua Surfer
2x Natural Snare
1x Hanzou, Menacing Phantom
1x Falconer, Lightfang Ninja
These cards will help you in stalling aggressive decks like rushes and assaults. They will also remove threats while you set up your zone and build resources further, until one of your finishers can hit the field.
Super Finishers(5):
1x Emperor Chirico
2x Super Terradragon Variant Vades
2x Terradragon Diruga Vejida
Indirect finisher summoning(3):
2x Sanctuary of the Mother
1x Crest of Mother
If the Dolgazers were not enough...
The Mother spells will help you bring these titans out.
The main finisher here, no doubt, is Variant Vades. Chiriko is a bit unreliable because of its restriction(though Sanctuary does help there), but it is hands-down one of the most overpowered cards in the game. If it brings out a Diruga and/or Dolgazer on top of that, the the advantage is HUGE. Note that it works best in situations where the opponent keeps reducing your swam. If you already have a considerable field, Chirico can hurt you instead, so go for the other finisher- Variant Vades.
Now Diruga by itself is quite useless- It's a huge finisher, no doubt, but it is slow- oh so very, very slow. That's where the star titan of this deck comes in...
Super Terradragon Variant Vades is here because he's simply too good with Terradragon Diruga Vejuda. He needs to evolve on UPTO 3 creatures from mana- Which means he can evolve on one Diruga alone.
That basically means you have an 8-mana speed attacking quadruple breaker.
The best part is that he can be brought out even at 7 mana with the Mother spells.
(Impractical Note: If you wanna have some fun, add in some more Dirugas, and evolve Vades on 3 to watch his power skyrocket to insane levels. A speed attacking 69000 powered creature? Well, why the f*** not?)
I won't get into more details and combos, like Thrash's inherent synergy with Ochappi/Ragmal, summoning a Thrash and transforming it into a Vades in the same turn, small things like that. That's for you to have fun with! Go rule the duel!(or get rekt, whatever lmao)
Note: Other cards that I sometimes use in the deck include Baiken, Pakurio and Ice Lance. There's also a Dark-Nature-Water version that focuses more on control instead of straightforward swarming, with cards like Jenny, Lost Soul and Olzekia.
