As the name suggests, Heavy Death Metal is built around the three-part God Link between Heavy, Death and Metal. The middle component is optional, so there are actually two variants to this link. Regardless, the individual unlinked components are very powerful on their own. So powerful infact, that one of them had to be restricted later on in the game. The rest of the deck has some very strong cards as well, and there is good synergy all around.
The early-game consists of God Lupia, Fuuma Bajir and Bloody Dragoon. Having all three of these in play will allow you to sacrifice them to play the 10-cost Death, Destruction God for free from anywhere; be it hand, mana, grave, deck or shields. If this combo isn't of interest, then these can be individually sacrificed later on for Heavy, Dragon God or Dark Soul creation. With 4x Dark soul and Dobolzack, the deck certainly isn't lacking in the resource department. An alternate option to the god link is Death Phoenix, if you plan to finish the game early. God Lupia is certainly versatile.
Galzark is a strong cheap triple-breaker and fits in right well. Dark Jios also has a good thematic connection here, and the G-zero won't be that difficult to activate. The deck is overall very aggressive, combining a lot of cheap destruction effects with powerful attackers. There is a lot of room for improvements however, and it's up to the player's creativity from here on.
If you have played this deck, post your own impression of it. Also suggest improvements to the base build.
