Alright, I summon a Chester Romanoff, and use its ability to cast Earth Eternity Gate and bring in a Mad Romanoff. If I try to link them, what happens? 1. Is the final creature tapped or untapped? (I'd side with tapped, but still have my doubts) 2. Since it links in the middle of an attack, can I use Mad's meteorburn too? (NO idea about this one) 3. Does Chester break an additional shield? (I think yes, but gotta confirm) |

Steps:
1. Tap Creature
2. Declare target
3. Effect of Chester Romanoff activates
4a. Earth Eternity Gate is casted
5. Mad Romanoff comes into play
4b. Earth Eternity Gate goes to bottom of deck
6. Player can choose to god link
7. If he chooses to god link, they are treated as new untapped creature (meaning that the first attack doesn't continue) allowing it to attack.

Ah, sorry for not providing links to the cards, added. Corrections needed in your point 4b and 8. 4b. Gate goes to bottom of deck 8. They break two shields because Chester breaks an additional shield while linked. As for 7, I still have my doubts. Why should the attack not continue? Take Bolbalzak Sword Flash Dragon for example. That thing can untap as soon as it's tapped, and the attack still goes through. |

You are right ofc. I edited the answer i gave you.
However, you are wrong on the Bolbazak answer. Bolbazak untaps and the attack continues, but Chester leaves the battlezone (becoming a new creature).
This is the same as Marianna + Soulswap, or Daidalos killing himself on attack, which due to the nonexistence of the creature when battle was supposed to happen, ends the battle step.

Not sure if this is relevant but if you check the recent cards(invaders) they change right in the middle of an attack and it still goes through.(Nothing's untapped though)
I'm still not sure about anything, I get a feeling that you're right; but if the rulings you gave are correct, that'd mean New Moon Pulses would let you summon an unlimited amount of gods in a loop with no drawbacks if you have even one emperor in the zone. I'm so gonna abuse this xD
