Galaxy Blade - The Final

So, a creature is crossed with Galaxy Blade and gets galaxy breaker. 
Now, does the creature still break all your shields after the attack even if the opponent blocks the attack?

It doesn't because shields are only broken if the attack goes through, regardless of the target player.
