Not really. There are other ways. Not that strong, sure but there definitely are ways.

Hydro Hurricane based mana-burns are still viable, and can be much stronger than the ones from before.

Hmm i have a question, if some of us want to play DM17 format, could we get a banlist accurate to early 2006? i know for a fact that Sapphire was limited to 1 in that time, and soulswap was still being allowed, along with other notable differences, but it would be nice to get a very accurate banlist for dm17.
