Alright, I attack with Simian Warrior Grash and my opponent blocks with Snork La. Both die. Does the opponent put a card from his mana zone into his graveyard? Or does Snork's effect prevent it at the exact time of death?

Since you put the card in the graveyard AFTER Simian has died and the battle has occured. Meaning after SnorkLA has died. The effect doesn't take place

So Snork won't save mana, and Grash's effect will go unchecked? Are you sure about this?

Well since Snork's effect remains while it's alive and Grash's effect activates after death. The answer is there i suppose
